Save A Girl Child, If There Is No Girl There Is No World !!!

 ఆడపిల్లలు అంతరిoచడo మానవ మనుగడకే ప్రమాదం

 ‘’ఆడపిల్లలను రక్షిద్దo ఆడపిల్లలను చదివిద్దo’’

In rural areas, parents are inclined towards male child, whereas this tendency is lacking towards the female child.
Most of the parents are unable to give education to girl child due to financially bad condition.
As a result, the girls are deprived from education and are not able to achieve desirable status in family, social, educational, financial and in political field.
It also affects girl’s education in next generation and as such social change from female angle is not achieved.
Therefore, B. S. Reddy Upper Primary School, by considering rural social and educational tradition and also to give real awakening.

B. S. Reddy Upper Primary School is aiming  to provide Free Education to the Orphan, Handicapped and Needy Girls Students  who are in the age group of 4 -12 years.

Republic Day ***Cherish this historic day

Republic Day - The day the Constitution of India came into effect

Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26 January to commemorate the date and moment when the Constitution of India came into effect. Although India attained independence on August 15, 1947 but till 1949 it didn't have a permanent constitution of its own and instead were functioning under the laws enacted and implemented by the British. And after many amendments the Constitution was approved and accepted on November 26, 1949 that came into force in a full-fledged fashion from on 26 January, 1950. Thus, Republic Day celebration is the moment to remember the coming of the Constitution into effect.

India celebrates its Republic Day in colourful and exciting ways. To mark Republic Day in a memorable and significant way, every year in New Delhi, capital of India, a grand parade is held that starts from the Raisina Hill in the neighborhood of the majestic Rashtrapati Bhawan and passes along the Rajpath thus ending at India Gate. The President, Prime Minister and other high rank officials of India on this occasion make their presence at Rajpath to celebrate the occasion. The President unfolds the National flag as soon as the National Anthem is played and also addresses the nation with Republic Day speech. Furthermore, the Republic Day parade also includes lively displays and exhibits India's rich and colouful culture and also brings the entire nation together. The parade concludes with the flypast by Indian Air Force jets.

On Republic Day, martyrs and heroes who showed courage and bravery for country's sake without bothering their own lives is also remembered and conferred prestigious and significant awards including Kirti Chakra and Ashok Chakra are conferred on the event by the President. Since 1950, for Republic Day celebrations India has been inviting guests of high dignitaries of another country as the state guest of honour.

Not only in New Delhi, but other states also celebrate Republic Day with great enthusiasm and in numerous innovative ways. The Republic Day 2013 will be observed on Saturday (26 January) and the public offices and schools will remain closed to celebrate the significance of the day.

The patriotic fervor of the people is witnessed not only in the programmes and activities but also in the inspirational Republic Day SMS and Republic Day messages. On this day people send warm wishes about Republic Day to their dear ones that lend a festive ambience to the historic occasion. Short and lovely text messages are also a wonderful way to spread the importance of the Republic Day.

The festivity of Republic Day concludes officially with the intriguing Beating Retreat ceremony on the evening of 29th January. This enthralling ceremony is performed by the military, the Indian Air Force, India Navy and India Army in the Raisina Hills, New Delhi, in front of the President of India as the Chief Guest.

Children's Day - 14th November

 II Children's Day - 14th November  II
Children's day, in hindi known as "Bal Diwas", in India falls on November 14th every year and for good reason. Children's day in India is celebrated on Pandit Nehru's birthday as a day of fun and frolic, a celebration of childhood, children and Nehruji's love for them.

About Jawahar Lal Nehru
On November14, 1889, a son was born to an eminent lawyer, Motilal Nehru and his wife Swaroop Rani at Allahabad. They named him Jawaharlal. He was a brilliant, kindhearted child who was greatly loved by all. His father wanted to give him the best education and hence sent him to England for his M.A. from Cambridge. The British ruled India at that time. When he returned to India, young Jawaharlal realized that he wanted to help the poor and the downtrodden. He took part in the Freedom Struggle of India and became a follower of Mahatma Gandhi who had just returned from South Africa at that time. When India gained its independence, he became the first Prime Minister of free India.
He was a perfect blend of eastern philosophical values and western scientific thinking and encouraged technological progress. But he was also a man of letters and a great poet and wrote some famous works like, ‘Glimpses of World History’ and ‘Discovery of India’. His letters to his daughter, Indira, were also compiled into a book and reflects his philosophical outlook, his compassion and above all, his tender heart.

The Birth of Chacha Nehru
Chacha Nehru as the children fondly referred to him, was fond of both children and roses. In fact he often compared the two, saying that children were like the buds in a garden. They should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they were the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow. He felt that children are the real strength of a country and the very foundation of society. He was the ‘beloved’ of all the children who gave him the endearing name of ‘Chacha Nehru’.

Celebrations
As a tribute to this great man and his love for the children, his birthday is celebrated all over India as ‘CHILDREN’S DAY’. Most schools have cultural programmes for the day, with the students managing it all. All over the country, various cultural, social, and even corporate, institutions conduct competitions for children. Children's Day is a day for children to engage in fun and frolic. Schools celebrate this day by organizing cultural programmes. Teachers of the school perform songs and dances for their students.
Therefore, Children's Day is special. It is a day set aside to remember Pandit Nehru and his love for children.

Upcoming Events: November 14th Children’s day

In schools, besides the National days like the Independence Day and Republic Day, many other important days are also celebrated. For example, Teachers' Day is celebrated on 5th of September every year to honour the teachers as 5th of September happens to be the birthday of former President Dr. S. Radhakrishnan who was a world renowned teacher. Children's Day is celebrated every year in all schools in our country on 14th of November. Do you know why? Because Children's Day is associated with the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister, which falls on 14th of November every year. Pandit Jawaharlal was born on November 14, 1889 and he died on May 27, 1964. As desired by him, his birthday is being celebrated as Children's Day after his death. Jawaharlal Nehru was very much fond of children and he is called 'Chacha Nehru' by all children.

"Recollecting memories of school days is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose"
Schooldays, I believe are the happiest in the whole span of human existence.
Most of us would agree that the days spent in school are/were certainly the best days of our lives.
It’s in school that we make our first friend, have our first crush, compete to excel, hope for places in the sports teams, eating lunch boxes during classes, and learn our first lessons about life.

For dos whose school is now forever OVER. I still can't get over it -I feel like I'll be going back next year and seeing all the same people, but I won't be one of them! I'm happy and sad about graduating, I guess that's how most peeps feel. Those who are in school think that when I will grow up and go to college. But believe me when you will be in the college you will get bored with the narrow mindedness of your batch mates, politics, racing against time. Really school days are the golden days.

People called it SCHOOL I called it LIFE
all the best to students and teachers ....of my village
